Mediaseek handle personal information according to below.
(Compliance with Laws and Regulations)
1. Mediaseek will comply with the applicable laws and regulations including "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" and obligations under the applicable ministerial guidelines as Mediaseek obtain, handle and use in any way personal information of user.
(Purpose of Use of Personal Information)
2. Mediaseek hereby states the purpose of use of personal information obtained from User.
* Provision of intended functions of ICONIT Application/Service
* Revision, improvement and development of new functions of ICONIT Application/Service
* Correspondence to inquiries from User
* Handle and solve problems occurred on ICONIT Application/Service
Mediaseek will prior state the purpose of use when Mediaseek obtain written personal information directly from User.
Lack, insufficiency or inadequacy of User's giving User's personal information may cause inappropriate operation/service provision.
(Use of Personal Information within Scope for Purposes)
3.Mediaseek will handle personal information within the limit necessary for purposes prior stated and disclosed except for cases as set below pursuant to the Article 16 paragraph 3 of "Act on the Protection of Personal Information".
(1) permitted under the relevant laws and regulations;
(2) necessary to secure human live, body or property and it is difficult to obtain User's consent.
(3) especially necessary to promote public health or healthy cultivation of children and it is difficult to obtain User's consent.
(4) necessary to cooperate with national organ or municipal government (including any persons or entities consigned by such organ or government) in commission of such organ or government to perform its duties according to laws and regulations and in the threat that obtaining User's consent may interfere in such performance.
(Measures to Protect Personal Information)
4. Mediaseek will make effort to maintain User's personal information correct and recent and take safety control measures below to protect it against unauthorized access, falsification, leakage, loss and destruction.
(1) Mediaseek established privacy policy as a basic policy on handling personal information.
(2) For assuring appropriate handling of personal information, Mediaseek built Personal Information Protection Management Systems (“PMS”) regarding compliance to laws, regulations and guidelines and correspondence to inquiries and suggestions. PMS includes “Personal Information Protection Manual” which regulates plan, implementation, operation, correspondence to complaints and inquiries and correction and prevention measures and so on.
(3) Mediaseek assigned Personal Information Protection Manager and give needed authority to such manager.
(4) For protection of customer’s personal information, Mediaseek make needed and appropriate supervision according to PMS. In addition, Mediaseek give needed education and training to its employees according to PMS for assuring appropriate handling of personal information.
(5) As devices, electronic media and papers on or with which personal information is handled Mediaseek take control on them including lock or password according to PMS.
(6) Upon employees’ handling personal information, protective measures are set including limitation and control on using personal information and confinement of accessible area of personal information data-base or other media according to PMS.
(Appropriate Handling of Personal Information in Subcontractors)
5. Mediaseek may subcontract the processing of User's personal information to certain third party within the scope necessary for the purpose. Mediaseek will confirm and require appropriate handling of personal information in and to such third party with taking measures including stipulation about appropriate handling of personal information in the contract between Mediaseek and such subcontractor.
(Provision to Third Party)
6. Without User's consent, Mediaseek will not provide User's personal information to a third party except for cases as set below pursuant to the Article 23 paragraph 1 of "Act on the Protection of Personal Information".
(1) permitted under the relevant laws and regulations;
(2) necessary to secure human live, body or property and it is difficult to obtain User's consent.

7. When User want to make a request for a notice of purpose, disclose, correction, addition, deletion or suspension of User's personal information, please contact the address below. Mediaseek will promptly and properly respond to such request after the identity verification of User.

8. Mediaseek will promptly and properly respond to User's complaint or other inquiries on the handling of personal information. Concerning complaints or other inquiries please contact the address below.
(Upon Incidence of Accident)
9. On the incidence of accidents regarding User's personal information, Mediaseek will promptly and properly deal with such accidents including immediate notice of the facts to User or disclosure to the public.
(Continuous Improvement)
10. According to personal information protection and management system, Mediaseek will continuously endeavor to improve the handling of personal information through maintenance of internal rules, education to employees and internal audit.
